Shetland Heat Energy and Power are taking all appropriate steps to ensure we maintain a full service to our customers throughout this difficult period.
In line with other businesses we are introducing some measures to increase health security to minimise and mitigate the chances of infection for our staff and customers.
Please be advised that for this period our technicians will only make customer visits in emergency situations and under pre-arrangement and discussion with customers. In the first instance we will try and resolve any problems by telephone. Please call the office or our emergency number if this situation arises.
Please avoid visiting our office for any matters relating to district heating. If you are unsure please telephone us. We will have staff available until further notice through all normal office hours to handle calls.
We would also request that any suppliers, partners and agencies connected to district heating avoid visiting our office unless necessary and only by prior arrangement. Again, if you are unsure please telephone us to discuss.
At SHEAP we take our responsibility to maintaining a supply of heat and hot water to the community extremely seriously and we can assure the public that there will be no disruption to service. Please assist us by following these guidelines.
